Memorial services for Mrs. Elayne Mayo will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 4, 2012 at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Napp officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mayo, age 73, of Meridian, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her home. She was a retired home health caretaker.

She is survived by her Daughter, Monique Verdin and her husband Joseph of Houma, LA her Son, Craig Mayo of Meridian, MS Grandchildren, Brittany Mayo, Brandon Mayo, and Joseph Verdin Jr. her Great Grandchildren, Jayline Mayo, LaMon Mayo, JaNae and Jeremiah Patterson her sisters, Rita McDermott, Margaret Baxter both of Tasmania, Australia and Phylis Cornish of Queensland, Australia and by numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family would also like to offer thanks to these special friends, Shelby and Mike Sutton and Rev. Jessie Napp for all of their help and support.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Molly Gurr her brother, Leslie Gurr and sisters, Maureen Harris and Sheryl Ryan.

Visitation will be held at Webb Funeral Home on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 10 11 a.m.
