Mrs. Eliese Denton Thompson

Funeral services for Mrs. Eliese Denton Thompson will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson, age 89, of Meridian, passed away on July 27, 2013 at Infinity Hospice in Marion. Eliese was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a lifelong member of East End United Methodist church where she served as faithful organist for 50 years until the church closed in 2009 and she was a staff organist at Webb Funeral Home for 40 years.

She is survived by her Children, Charlie Susan Thompson of Indianapolis, IN, Rebecca Allan Keller of Quitman, MS and E. B. Thompson of Montpellier, LA Three grand daughters, Elaine Fulmer of Millwood, Virginia, Frannie Parker Wade of Quitman, MS, Hollie Hammett John of Wasilla, Alaska, and 9 great grandchildren Sister, Marie Mosley of Brandon, MS, and Brother, Charles Denton of Shorewood, Illinois Sister in law, Margaret Thompson of Meridian, Brother in law, Sam Thompson Maxine of Brandon, numerous nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Sula Denton Husband, Harold B. Thompson and Sister, Hazel Denton Flora.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 9 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Aldersgate retirement community Chapel fund if desired.
