Elise Joyce Combest Thompson

Graveside services for Mrs. Elise Joyce Combest Thompson will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Twistwood Cemtery in Rose Hill, MS, with the Rev. Lavelle Hillman officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson, 77, of Meridian, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Marion, MS.
She was a member of Rose Hill Methodist Church a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers and was retired from the telephone company.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Thompson of Chipley, FL sisters: Martha Broadhead and husband, Norris Nell Finnegan Dianne Hudnall and husband, Wally, all of Meridian special caregiver and friend, Barbara Matthews and the family at Infinity Hospice numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Addis Combest and mother, Mary Combest a brother Jack Combest a sister, Mary Massingill brothersinlaw: J.A. Finnegan and Joe Massingill.

Memorials may be made to Infinity Hospice in Marion.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
