Memorial Services for Elizabeth Abel will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 2:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Boudreau officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Abel, 88, of Meridian, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Meridian. Elizabeth loved her family, her Lord and Savior Jesus and her country. Her life showed this by her dedication to her children, to her letting the Holy Spirit work through her for Gods good plans and purposes in her life and by her service to her country as a Korean War Veteran in the Army and as an Army wife for 44 years. Her family and so many others were blessed by her cheerful, loving spirit. She will be missed until we are all together again in Christs Resurrection.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Abel daughter, Linda Abel granddaughters: Elisabeth Abel and Jenna Abel, all of Meridian sisterinlaws: Jody Culpepper and Dorothy Hagwood several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Bertha Olsen and her husband, Louis George Abel
