Elizabeth Sue Taylor

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Sue Pool Taylor will be held Sunday at 2pm in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home. Bro. Tommy Miller will be officiating. Burial will follow in Duffee Baptist Church Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Taylor, 74, of Chunky, formerly of West Point, passed away Friday at Queen City Nursing Center. Through much of her life she was self employed as a hairdresser and later in the used car business with Mr. Taylor.  Family and friends will always remember her as a very straight forward lady who was always willing to speak her mind. She enjoyed fishing and watching her hummingbirds.

She is survived by her sons James Abrams, Doug Abrams and wife Angie, Anthony “Andy” Abrams and wife Brandi; brother Russell Pool and wife Martha; sisters Yvonne Poole, Margie Blackwell and husband Don; grandchildren David Abrams, Kelly Abrams, Nicole Mosley and husband Dillon, Shelby Abrams along with four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Cannie Pool and husband Cecil Lee Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Don Blackwell Jr., James Blackwell, Devin Blackwell, T.J. McInnis, Rusty Pool and Robbie Pool.

Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
