Services for Eloise Braddock Stone will be held Wednesday, May 20th, 2:00 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Singletary officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian.
Mrs. Stone, 92, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, May 16th, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.
Eloise was born October 28, 1927, in Falkner, MS. Eloise moved to Meridian with her family in 1934. She graduated from Meridian High School and then attended Meridian Junior College. She married her husband, James W. Stone Jr., in 1950. In her early years, she worked as a teller for Citizens National Bank. In later years, she was a mother and homemaker. She was also a member of Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Stone (Deborah) and Marcus Stone (Diane); grandsons, Matt Stone, Kevin Stafford, Christopher Smith, and Justin Smith; great grandchildren, Banks Stone, Lynlee Stone, Bailey Stafford, Reese Stafford, Ellery Craft, Liam Everett Smith; sister-in-law, JoAnn Braddock; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Stone Jr.; her parents, Tom Charlie and Lillian Mae Coleman Braddock; and brother, Charles Braddock.
Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
