Emily Snowden

Mrs. Snowden passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Anderson's Hospital. Services will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Matthew Simmons officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Mrs. Snowden participated in Girl Scouts for many years and loved bowling. She was retired from Rush Hospital as an LPN, where she worked in the nursery. She was a member of the Mercy Association (Sisters of Mercy). She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Harwell (Sue Ann) of Blountsville, AL, Minor Harwell (Hilda) of Poplarville, MS, and John Harwell (Bridget) of Meridian, MS; Nephew, Blake Harwell of Poplarville,MS; Niece Kara Oswalt (Curtis) of Brandon, MS; Nephew, Weston Harwell of Dallas,TX and Niece, Serena Sanders (Waylon) of Meridian, MS; her stepdaughter, Melissa Snowden Richardson (Shane) of Helena, AL; and Two Grandchildren, Eli Richardson and Presely Richardson of Helena, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Robert "Don" Snowden; her parents, Herbert T. Harwell Sr and Serena Crowe Harwell and infant sister Ellen Serena Harwell.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 pm at James F. Webb Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Patrick Catholic School.
