Estaban Valdez

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Estaban Videl "Steven" Valdez. Stephens Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Valdez, age 69, of Meridian, passed away Sunday at his residence.

He was a retired electrician and plumber for McLain Plumbing in Meridian. He loved the outdoors. You could always find him working in his yard or just enjoying the outdoors. His family was his heart and soul and the love he had for them will be a cherished memory for many years.

Mr. Valdez is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Valdez; daughters, Antoinette Martinez and Casey Clayton, and son, Steve Martinez; brothers, Gilbert Valdez, Donny Valdez, Frank Valdez, Alan Valdez (Bridget) and Robert Valdez (Sandra); sisters, Lisa Lucera (John), Susan Archuleta and Dorothy Chantrell (Raymond). He is also survived by his goddaughters, Yvonne Rodriguez and Jennifer Valdez, godson, Ted Vigil, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maclovia and Alice Valdez, and brothers, Rudy, George and Lloyd Valdez.
