Services for Ethel Boyet will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Boyet, 87, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at Beverly Living Center. She was born on October 10, 1920, in Lake Providence, La., to the now late, Lawrence and Annie Mae Baradell. She was a lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church, where she taught in the three year old preschool class for more than 30 years. She loved Bible study, literature, gardening and bargain shopping. Her children remember her as a selfless and devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. Survivors include her son, Raylon Stokes and his wife, Kathy, of Silverthorne, Colo.; a daughter, Kathleen J. Boyet of Littleton, Colo. and a grandson, Andy S. Johnson of Littleton; seven nephews, three nieces; a brother-in-law, Robert Richardson; numerous grand-nieces and-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lt. Raylon L. Stokes, and her second husband, Robert S. Boyet; brothers, William L. Baradell and John J. Baradell and sisters, Nora Richardson and Doris Forde. Memorials may be made to the Central United Methodist Church, Three Year Old Preschool Class, P.O. Box 1706, Meridian, MS 39302. Visitation will be today, June 24, 2008, from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at funeral home and one hour prior to service on Wednesday. BR
