Memorial services for Ethel Brown will be held at 5:30pm on Saturday, April 28th at Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church. Allan Singletary will be officiating.
Mrs. Brown, 80, went to be with her Lord on April 21st, peacefully, at Beehive Home of Marion, Ms.
She was retired from Meridian Public School System.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed most of all, being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved traveling, fashion, dancing, water aerobics, playing Bunco with her dear friends of many years, her church family and their consistent outpouring of love.
She was preceded in death by her "loving husband forever" Don R. Brown (his signature on every card given for 57 years), before his passing in 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristi Ford and her husband, Johnnie K. Ford, sons, Don R. Brown, Jr ( Rick) and Mike Brown. Grandchildren, Traci Hager and her husband Scott Hager, Erin Scharmen, her husband, Dustin Scharmen, Sheree' Sheffield, her husband, CJ Sheffield, and Ty Ford and his wife Hillary Ford , Bailey Brown, Spencer Brown and Matthew Vincent.
Her great grandchildren include Quanisha Sheffield, Kaleb Fisher, Cameron Hager, Ethan Hager, Kayla Fisher, Ford Scharmen, Malachi Sheffield, Micah Sheffield, Bryson Yates, Kynnedy Yates, Rhett Scharmen and Tyler Ford. Also her brother, Ron VanLandingham.
To celebrate her life and her love of style and fashion, we ask you to enjoy wearing something of animal print. She will be forever loved and missed by all.
