Frances Marie Roberson

Visitation for Frances Marie Roberson will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-DeKalb. A graveside service will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Chad Holmes officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Roberson, 92, of Scooba, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her residence.

Frances was known to be a hard-working lady and believed in keeping busy. She tried her hand at many jobs, excelling in each. She was a talented quilter, making many over her lifetime for her family to cherish. However, nothing gave her more joy than being a grandmother. She will hold a special place in the hearts of many.

She is survived by her children, Charlotte Gilbert (Grover), Ann Roberson Allen (Joe), Ruby Stokes (Jimmy), Charlie Roberson (Sherry), and Becky Roberson Whitehead (Randy); grandchildren, Michelle Wooten; D.J. Allen, Melinda Hoffman, Ashley Gordon, Jason Roberson (Genni Thornburg), Matt Faucette (Breanna Robichaux), Hayden Roberson (Brittany), Don Robinson, and Holly Robinson Byrd; great grandchildren, Krystal Wooten, Kailey, Briley, and Liam Hoffman, Taylor and Triston Gordon, Kaleigh, Kenzie, Paisley, and Lainey Roberson, Reid, Liam, and Avery Faucette, Hayes and Walker Roberson, Allie, Ever, and Willow Robinson, and Sawyer Byrd; sister, Lena Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Charlie Harrison Roberson; parents, Roco Carlo and Tennie Tiny Young Misso; and siblings, Sam Misso, Zabi Mae Turnage, Margaret Cecille Tharpe, Blanche Lucille Knight, Clara Maude Williams, and Thaddis Misso.

Pallbearers will include Jason Roberson, Matthew Faucette, Hayden Roberson, Don Robinson, Kyle Hoffman, and Chris Gordon.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Quality Hospice, especially Bridgette and Katina, as well as Mrs. Frances’ sitter, Deanna Gully.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
