Francis X. Schultz
Memorial Services for Francis X. Schultz will be held Friday at 11 am at St. Patricks Catholic Church with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Schultz died June 22, 2011 at his home in Lauderdale after a short illness. He was born on February 7, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis V. and Jeanette Dowling Shultz. He attended Bishop Egan High School and lived in Philadelphia and Levittown, PA until his retirement from James D. Morrissey, Inc. in 1999 as a Teamster truck driver. He was active in the Catholic Youth Organization of Queen of the Universe Parish for many years. He was a 4th Degree Knight in the Levittown K of C St. Joseph the Worker Council 4215, where he had many friends. His hobbies included golfing with friends. He belonged to the Queen City Model Railroad Club. He also was a volunteer and starter at Ponta Creek Golf Course at NAS Meridian.
Mr. Schultz was the beloved husband of Rose Marie Gargani Schultz for over 48 years. She will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his son Frank and daughterinlaw Miyuki, and granddaughter Megumi of Ewa Beach, Hawaii grandchildren Annabelle of Broomfield, Colorado, Michele and Nikolaus, and great grandson Mika Reid of Springfield, Virginia son John and daughterinlaw Rhonda, grandsons Joshua, Jacob and Jared of Lauderdale, Miss son James and daughterinlaw Emily, grandchildren Jasmine and Jonah of Oak Harbor, Washington son Michael and daughterinlaw Beth, and grandson Peyton of Hollywood, Maryland brother and sisterinlaw William and Edith Schultz of Bonita Springs, Florida and sisterinlaw Anne Marie Schultz of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who loved and respected him very much.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brotherinlaw Lorraine and George McElrath, Sr. and nephew George McElrath, Jr., and brother, John J. Schultz.
