Mr. Frank Ray Moore

Services for Mr. Frank Ray Moore will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 12:30 PM at Graveside with Rev. Jessie Napp officiating. Interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in the Whynot Community. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moore, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his home in Meridian. He was retired from the Meridian and Bigbee Railroad. He was a veteran of WWII while serving in the United States Army and he also retired from the Army Reserve after 22 years with the rank of Sergeant 1st Class.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Moore of Meridian, MS One Grandson, Frank Garrison and his wife Wendi of Jackson, MS One Granddaughter, Dabney Caldwell and her husband Chip of Atlanta, GA by Four Great Grandchildren and a Son in Law, Rodney Garrison.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph and Annie Moore and by one Daughter, Lynda Garrison.

Pallbearers are Joe Moore, Leslie Wilkes, Tommy Spears, Doug Spears, Murphy Goodman, and James Farrior.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 10 11:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home.
