Graveside services for Mrs. Gatha Farrington will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Farrington, 95, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Farrington was retired from Western Union as a payroll clerk. She had the opportunity through her job to be able to travel. She moved from Meridian to New Orleans in the early 40s to work with Western Union and lived there until around the early 1970s where she then moved with the company to Dallas, Texas and worked there until 1996, and upon her retirement moved back to Meridian.

Survivors include her Grandson, Steve Collier and his wife Jennifer Daughter in law, Vicky Collier Great Grand Daughters, Emersyn Collier and Graycen Collier, all which live in Colorado. She is also survived by her Three Sisters, June McMillan and her husband Sonny of Philadelphia, MS, Vitula Mott of Ellisville, MS, and Rachel Koch of Pensacola, FL and by numerous Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Collier Son, James Edward Jimmy Collier Grand Son, Edward Scott Collier and Sister, Mary Matheny.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Webb Funeral Home from 1 2pm.
