Mr. George Arthur Dink Evans

Services for Mr. George A. Dink Evans will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Corey Fontan officiating. Interment will be in Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Evans, age 78, passed away on January 25, 2011 at his home. Most people knew his as Dink,he was retired and had served in the United States Army. He loved to listen and play Bluegrass music, and was always picking his guitar and singing his favorite songs. His love of music came at an early age and he could always be seen carrying his guitar as a boy. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Evans of Philadelphia, MS his children, Diane Ridout and her husband Leonard, Sandy Aldy and her husband Johnny, James Evans and his wife Tonya, Linda Aniel and her husband Pete, Patricia Alston and her husband Eddie, Dwayne Evans and his wife Vickie by his Twenty One 21 Grandchildren and by his Seventeen 17 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, Fondy and May Evans and one grandson, T.J. Aniel III.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Webb Funeral Home from 57 pm.
