Services for Mr. Gerald Wayne Wright will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Bro. Reed Vaughn and Bro. Lamar Lifer officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wright, 91, of Toomsuba, passed away on March 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He retired from Gulf States Paper Mill. He was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church and served as a deacon of the church for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and loved having his grandchildren and great grandchildren visit. His passion was his garden and he loved to share his vegetables with others.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Wright Suggs (Sam); Two sons, Gerald Wayne Wright (Pat) and Don Reid Wright (Terri); Seven Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded by his wife of 43 years, Clara J. Wright; wife, Janie Wright; and a daughter, Cheryl Wright Edwards.
