Mrs. Gloria Oxner Jones

Graveside Services for Mrs. Gloria Oxner Jones will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Harmon officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jones, age 60, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was active with the childrens Mission Friends program and a volunteer with the March of Dimes. She will be remembered as an angel with a heart of gold.

She was survived by her husband of 35 years, James Jones of Meridian; mother, Miriam Oxner of Meridian; three brothers: Joseph Edwin Oxner, Jr. of Little Rock, MS; Arthur Ray Oxner and Jerry Wayne Oxner, both of Meridian; three sisters: Janet Powell and her husband, Mark of Chunky, MS; Linda Kay Copenhaver and husband, Elmer of Gulfport; Vickie Viola Oxner of Meridian; two nieces and one nephew.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Edwin Oxner,Sr..

Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
