Gregory Braswell

Funeral services for Gregory Glenn Braswell will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Temple officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
After many years of poor health, Mr. Braswell, age 65, graduated from this life to be with our Lord on June 11, 2018 at a local hospital in Meridian. Gregory was born at Camp Atterbury, Indiana on November 6, 1952. He made his decision to follow Jesus at age seven in Birmingham, AL. He has lived in Meridian for most of his adult life. He graduated from Meridian High School with honors and enjoyed being a member of the MHS Marching Band as first trumpet. He was employed in the telecommunications industry for several years before becoming ill.
Survivors include his parents, Denton (Doc) and Sonni Braswell; his sister Annette Ellen Turner (Myron), his brothers, D. Graham Braswell (Debbie) and Gary J. Braswell (Wendy).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Monecha Platt Braswell.
The family request that memorials be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 4032 PSD, Meridian, MS 39305.
Pallbearers will be Graham Braswell, Gary Braswell, Myron Turner, Dr. Jim Isbell, Mike Sterling and Larry Costilow.
