Harold Dempsey

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Lee Dempsey will be held at graveside, February 7, 2020, 11:30 a.m., at Mississippi Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Newton, MS.

Mr. Dempsey, 72, passed away on January 29, 2020 at his home. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing and doing wood working. He was a Vietnam Veteran while serving in the United States Navy. He was employed in the heating and air business for many years and serviced hundreds of residents in the Meridian/Lauderdale county area before his retirement.

He is survived by his children, Two Sons, Michael Dempsey and Harold Lee "JR" Dempsey Jr.; Two Daughters, Angela Holly and Gwen Banks; the mother of his children, Audrey Dempsey; three sisters, Janet, Margaret, and Gwen; a brother, Doug; Two step daughters, Lisa and Wendy;  by a lifetime friend and caregiver, Bonnie Sharp; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Loudene Thompson.
