Harriet "Tootsie" Clark

Services for Mrs. Harriet “Tootsie” Burroughs Clark will be held Friday, August 16, at 12 noon at Stephens Funeral Home in Union. Interment will follow at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton.  Brother Thomas Fortenberry will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10 - 12. Stephens Funeral Home of Union is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clark, 85, died Wednesday August 14 at Hilltop Manor.  She loved reading her Bible, working puzzle books and playing bingo.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her three daughters Judy Clark Underwood (Murry), Libby Fisher (Phillip), and Beverly Long (Greg); a son Stacey Clark (Brenda); 8 grandchildren Chris Fisher (Kate), Brad Underwood, Dassie Fisher, Nickey Underwood, Heather Johnson Ammon (Robert), Jay Johnson, Hailey Clark, and Jacqui Long; 6 great grandchildren Alyssa Underwood, Sophie Ammon, Blair Ammon, Emmett Ammon, Paxton Johnson, and Levi Flauchman; and a brother J.R. Burroughs (Peggy).

She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver Clark; a brother Lavelle (Rube) Burroughs; and her parents W.C. Burroughs Sr. and Hazel Evans Burroughs.
