Mrs. Hazel Munn Burt

Funeral Services for Mrs.Hazel Munn Burt will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Webb Chapel with Rev. Rob Gill officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Zero Community. James F. Webb Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Burt, 87, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 in Rush Hospital. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and former member of York Methodist Church. She retired from the Department of Pensions and Securities in Livingston, AL. She was aloving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters: Annette Burt Dowda and husband, Billy of Meridian; Vicki Jo Scott of Toomsuba; June Stein and husband, Ron of Hopkins, Minnesota; Nell A. Boyd of Meridian; sons: Douglas Alfred Bury and wife, Lora of Vance, AL; Jeffry Wayne Bury of Greenville, AL; grandchildren: Billy Dowda and wife, Cheryl; Kelly M. Fera and husband, John; Alan Scott and wife, Tina; Wesley Scott; Kevin McIlwain; Melinda Brown and husband, Shannon; Allison King; Jeffry Burt, Jr.; George Burt and Nathan Burt and eleven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Moses Ross Munn and Lela Graham Munn; husband of 31 years, Alfred Alonzo Lonnie Burt; one brother and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Billy Dowda, Kevin McIlwain, Alan Scott, Wesley Scott, Jeffry Burt, Jr., George Burt and Nathan Burt.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at funeral home.
