Henry Lee Boren

A graveside service for Henry Lee Boren will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Porterville, MS with Bro. Chris Gully officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-DeKalb is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Boren, 84, of Porterville, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Ochsner Rush Health.

Henry was an avid Mississippi State fan, watching all of their ballgames. He was also a big fan of the Atlanta Braves.

He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Key and Edna Eldridge; brother, James “Ted” Boren (Barbara); nieces, Joyce Key, Angie Card, and Michele Harris; nephew, Kim Key; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Jewel Boren; and niece, Janet Key.

Pallbearers will include Jason Collier, Charlie Davis, Greg Gully, Kim Key, Justin Robertson, Mark Robertson.

Honorary pallbearers will include Tommy Card and Bradley Harris.

The family wishes to thank Trend Health and Rehab for the care they provided for Mr. Boren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bay Springs Baptist Church.
