Mr. H.C. Neal
Services for H.C. Neal will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Center Grove Baptist Church in Lauderdale County at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Culpepper and Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 - 11 at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Neal, 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Bedford Care Center. He was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church where he served his Lord and church family many years. He was in the Army during WWII having served in India. He was a carpenter who worked with Bryant Null for 37 years and helped build many of the beautiful homes and businesses in Meridian. He was also a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. There was always bubble gum in his pocket to share with children and put a smile on their faces.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Carol Neal; Son, David Neal and wife Eula of Meridian; Grandson, Christopher Neal and wife Ashley; Granddaughter, Chastidy Queen and husband Donnie; Great Grandchildren, Garrett and Case Neal, Madison, Morgan, and Mason Queen; Step Granddaughter, Teresa Roberts; Sister, Vivian McRae and husband Kelva; Sister in law, Janell Neal; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Clay Neal Sr. and Sadie Neal; Brother, Roland Neal; Sister, Annie Earle Baker and Brother in law, Wylie Baker.
Pallbearers will be Michael Roberson, Chad Roberson, Ryan Mosley, John McPherson, Bill Williams, and Preston Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Rainer, Ronnie Singley, Erbie Usrey, Henry Evans, and Paul Singley.
