Henry Sartain

Graveside Services will be held Friday at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sartain, 92, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served aboard the USS Indianapolis that carried the hydrogen bomb to Hiroshima. He was a very faithful and active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Brenda Gayle Sartain; a son, Henry Alford Sartain, Jr; a daughter, Linda Alford Sartain; grandchildren, Joseph Sartain, Kayla Todd, Cristina Todd and Rebecca Todd; his father-in-law, Tom Kyser. He was preceded in death by parents, Benny and Gertrude Sartain. Pallbearers will be members of the Adult Men 3 Sunday School. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church for family.
