Horace Boswell Sr.

Horace Sidney Boswell Sr., 82 of Meridian, MS passed away at home on August 16, 2022. He enjoyed Bluegrass Gospel music, and  playing his upright bass. Horace was an avid outdoorsman and animal lover. Enjoyed coon hunting and breeding Blue Heeler dogs, and was a Master Mason. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and retired from Lockheed Martin.

There will be a visitation Monday, August, 22 from 4:00-6:00pm downtown Meridian, Webb & Stephens Funeral Home will be handling all arangements. The interment will be Tuesday, August, 23 at 1:00pm at MS Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Newton, MS.

He is survived by his children: Cynthia Ann Boswell Dalton, Horace "Sid" Boswell Jr.(Patty), Joseph Wayne Boswell, Anna Faye Boswell Galloway(Steven); and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Siblings: Tommie Jean Boswell Avera; Virgie Elaine Boswell McCary.

He is proceded in death by his parents: Thomas Whitt Boswell; Karlen Hall Boswell,Children: Thomas William Boswell, and Deborah Kaye Boswell.

The family ask that in leu of flower stands that you make a donation to Lauderdale County Animal AShelter in memory of Horace Boswell Sr., he had  a true love for animals.
