Howard Harris

Services for Gene Harris will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the chapel at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Stears officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harris, 86, of Meridian, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at J.T. Champion Nursing Facility. He was a longtime member of Northpark Church of God, formerly Parkview Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Belle Luke Harris; Son, Tim Harris; and nephew Richard Harris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Luther Harris and Dale Harris; and sister, Kathleen Haddad.

Pallbearers will be Mac Green, Billy Green, Dinky Irvin, Ken Murphy, Steve Blackwell and Rayburn Rush.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 1-2:30 pm at the funeral home.
