Howard Little

Graveside services for Howard Hilton Little will be held today at 4 p.m. at Enterprise Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Sikes officiating and James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Little, age 76, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Little had retired from Public Education after 36 years, during which he was coach, teacher and Director of Education. In his early years he joined the United States Marines and had received the rank of Lieutenant and had also worked as a welder in the shipyards in Mobile, Ala. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Meridian.

He is survived by his daughters, Avery Freeman and her husband Keith, Olivia Little, and Amanda Little grandchildren, Jeremy Freeman and Cole Freeman sister, Elise Crawford and her husband Buddy and brothers, Harry Little and his wife Dorothy, and Bobby Little and his wife Fredine.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Adams Little and by his parents, Robert and Melba Little.
