Howard Mccormick

Howard “Doc” McCormick, a long time resident of Meridian, passed away on February 11, 2020 at the age of 73. Doc was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved to read and spend time with his family. He specialized in retail management and always took pride in his work. He was acknowledged throughout these years for his many accomplishments.

He spent his retirement spending quality time with Cindy, the love of his life. He loved the extra time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren who meant the world to him. Although his family is struggling with the loss of Doc, they rejoice in the fact that he is now with his Lord and heavenly family.

Along with his wife Cindy, survivors include his children Lori Bailey (Richard) of Meridian, Wendy Alvarez (Peter) of Meridian, Christy McCormick of Meridian, Todd McCormick (Dee Dee)of Meridian; grandchildren Zachary Alverez (Kayla), Jordan Alvarez, Chad Alverez, Shylah McCormick, Nickalas McCormick, Christopher McCormick; great-grandson Eli Alvarez; sister Cheryl Biancamano and brother Bill McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard McCormick and Peggy Jean Griffin McCormick.

A memorial service will be held at Stephens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13th at 2pm. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1pm until service time.
