Ira Ford

Services for Ira C. Ford will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bucatunna Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Goodman officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Webb Funeral Home from 5 - 8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 - 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ford, 92, of Snell, passed away on October 17, 2016 at Rush Hospital. He was a decorated WWII veteran, serving in the United States Navy and receiving 6 Stars during his service. He was a retired truck driver and he loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and driving around in his golf cart.

He is survived by his Daughters, Peggy Jellenc and Patricia Dean; Son, Ira C. Ford Jr.; Ten Grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded by his wife, Eunice Robinson Ford; Sister, Edna Henius; Brother, W.J. Ford; and a grandson, Rodney McMullen.
