He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.BRBRHe is survived by his wife, Katheryne Schons; by his children, John Schons and his wife Rosanna of Las Vegas,NV, Kathleen Bradley and her husband Robert of New Haven,CT, and MatthewBRSchons of Tallahasee, FL. He is also survived by his step children, Essie Slaughter and her husband Parris of Jackson,MS, and Gladys Jeffries and her husband Willie of Holly Springs, MS; Grandchildren, Marques Slaughter, Tiffani Slaughter, and Michael Schons and one Great Grandchild, Makenzie Slaughter.BRBRThe Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.BRBR
