Memorial Services for Mr. Jackie L. Sims will be held at a later date. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sims, age 79, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at his residence. He was an U.S. Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge Meridian Chapter.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Sims son, Jeffrey Sims daughter, Janine Sims, granddaughter, Samantha Sims and great granddaughter, Hannah a beloved adopted son, W.C. McMullan and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack A. and Frances Corbin Sims a brother, Clifford Sims.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans or charity of your choice.
