Mr. James E. Dandridge

Funeral services for Mr. James E. Dandridge will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Webb Chapel with Jim Wall officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dandridge, 73, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Mobile, AL . He was a retired assistant chief of police from the City of Meridian and an officer of Lauderdale County Sheriff Department. He had also served in the United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Darleen Ishee and her husband Jim of Jackson, MS and Pamela Snoke and her husband Dave of Quitman, MS grandchildren: Lanny Spann, James Spann, Brandy and Jason Melton, Mark and Lorenda Spann, Lance Wilborn, and Shea and David Stearns her great grandchildren: Jennifer Spann, Amber Spann, David Melton, Lane Spann, Whitney Melton, Levi Clark, Kellen Spann, Dottie Melton 1 sister, Barbara Dandridge Minter and 1 nephew, Bobby Engstrom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Carey and Earnestine Dandridge and by his wife, Dorothy Dandridge.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral home.
