James Edward Mewbourn

Graveside services for James Edward Mewbourn will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at New Fellowship Baptist Cemetery in Hickory with Pastor Todd Tilghman officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mewbourn, 82, of Hickory, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at Bedford Care Center in Newton. Originally from Empire, AL he resided in the Fellowship community for the past 35 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Lucy Ann Warren; sons, James Michael Mewbourn and Randall Joe Mewbourn; sisters, Shelby Knight, Chris Mszar, Renee Loftus, Patsy Orlando, and Luby Drummond; and a grandson Noah James Warren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gladston and Stella Lucille Mewbourn; and a brother, Jerry Konuk.
