Mr. James Charles Charlie Moore

Services for Mr. Charlie Moore will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Stonewall. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 5 7 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church of Stonewall. Interment will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moore, age 68, of Enterprise, passed away on December 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a reserve man, always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a great love for motorcycles and joined the Christian Motorcycle Association in order to be a witness and testimony. He enjoyed doing his prison ministry, Captives Free, preaching freedom in Christ, freedom from fear, but most of all freedom from the past. He and his wife attended the First Baptist Church of Stonewall. Charlie was a man who loved to fish, but even greater, he was fisher of men. God allowed Charlie to preach the Gospel to any and all who would invite him to share.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Moore Two daughters, Jennifer Caraway Chad and Jilleen Elaine Moore his Mother, Katherine Moore Two brothers, Roger Glen Moore and Robert Wayne Moore Two granddaughter, Rebecca Hope Caraway and Shelby Brooke Caraway.
