James Allen "Pete" Vining
Memorial services for Mr. James Allen "Pete" Vining will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 12:00pm at Webb Chapel with Father Matthew Simmons officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Vining, 89, of Meridian, passed away, Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Meridian. He was a Marine veteran and served in the Korean War. James was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Vining.
Mr. Vining is survived by his wife, Sarah Vining; son, Pete Vining, Jr., daughter, Gina Berdami; daughter, Tricia Hester; son, Joseph Vining; daughter, Perryann Vining; daughter, Sissy Garrett; daughter, Lisa Vining; son, Lance Vining; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be sent to St. Patrick Catholic School.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
