James Wilkes

Visitation for James Leslie "Zero" Wilkes will be Monday, August 16,2021, 12:00-2:00 at James F. Webb Funeral Home,service to follow immediately afterwards with Bro. Lee Robinson officiating.Internment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  James F. Webb Funeral Home is honored to assist the family during this difficult time.

Mr. Wilkes went to his heavenly home on August 10,2021. He was born on March 11,1943 in Meridian, MS. He joined Air National Guard January 11,1964 he served his country proudly until retirement in 2003. "Zero" was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing,  golfing, and having a good time on the river.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years, Anita; son Jody Proctor(Keri);daughter Lori Blackwell (Robert); grandchildren, Cameron Proctor,Garett Proctor, Josey Rae Proctor, Gavyn and Grant Dear, Cole Blackwell, Cayleigh Blackwell; step-brother, Gilbert Williams (Debra), niece Casey Henley.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Gordon Wilkes, and Blanch Williams.
