     Jamie Noelle Burns, 35, of Meridian, sadly passed away the morning of July 21, 2024, at home.

     Jamie was born to Paul J. and Pamela Faye (Thompson) Burns on February 27, 1989, in Decatur, Alabama. Jamie had a beautiful soul and will be remembered as having the biggest heart and doing what she could for anyone in need. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Although she is gone to soon, her family rests in the assurance that she is now healed and resting in the arms of Jesus. 

     Jamie is survived by her mother, Pamela “Pam” Faye Burns; her sister, Jerra Nicole Burns; her niece, Marley Burns; nephew, Brodie Simpson; her aunts, Julie Harrell (Bob) and Mary Rachwitz; her uncle, Robin Burns (Christine); and her cousins, Jessica Thompson, Alyssa Thompson, and Ashley Thompson; along with her best friend, Eddie Clinton.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Burns; grandmother, Grace Thompson; step-grandfather, Daniel Barrett; uncles, Abe Thompson, Jr (Janice), and Philip Burns; paternal grandparents, Bob and Carolyn Burns; cousin, Matthew Thompson; and grandfather, Abe Thompson, Sr.

     The family will have a celebration of life ceremony which will be held at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Jamie’s honor to the Roadside Rescue Network at roadsiderescuenetwork.org, to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at donate.nami.org, or the charity of your choice.
