Jane Morgan

Morgan, Jane "Faye" Saunders — 83, passed away peacefully at her home on May 16, 2022. Born May 25, 1938 to James Pittman and Lula Mae Saunders in Meridian, MS. In 1956 she married the love of her life Thomas "Lamar" Morgan. They moved to Jacksonville and later Orange Park where they raised their family. Faye retired from General Foods, Inc in 1993, the year her first two grandchildren were born. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Orange Park where she built lifelong friendships, enjoyed many Sunday School events, church outings and nursing home ministry. Faye was preceded in death by her son Tommy, husband Lamar, her parents and her sister.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jim, Steve (Suzy), grand children Kelsey Eagerton (Jake), Erika Morgan, Thomas Morgan, Rachel Morgan, Brittany Oman and Macy Rooks (Justin), great-grandson Weston Eagerton. Faye also leaves behind her beloved "bonus son" (because God always knew she wanted 4 — as she'd always say) Bob Raiford and "bonus grandson" Skylar Raiford in addition to a myriad of friends.

Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Thursday, May 19, 2022 at First Baptist Church Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073. Graveside Services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery, 2638 23rd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39305.
