Mrs. Janelle O. Clay

Services for Mrs. Janelle O. Clay will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at graveside at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Clay, 85, of Meridian, passed away on October 16, 2015. She graduated from Meridian High School and attended University of Southern Mississippi. Her love for children led her to become a Daycare Teacher. She was employed for most of her career at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, where she taught music and art. She enjoyed art, sewing, cooking, reading, gardening and singing in the choir at First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her Son and his wife, William (Bill) H. and Wanda Clay; Daughter, Linda C. Clay; Son, Mark L. Clay; Grandchildren, Denia Barrier and Tana Causey; and a Great Grandchild, Bella Grace Barrier.
She was precede by her parents, William H. Sims and Ethel Pope Sims White; Brothers, Leon and Leonard Sims; Husband, Leroy H. Clay; and a Daughter, Olivia Ann Clay.
