Mrs. Janet Kathryn Garrison Byrd

Memorial Services for Mrs. Janet Kathryn Garrison Byrd will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Lamar Lifer and Rev. Jim Rickles officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Byrd, age 74, a resident of Meridian, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzy Byrd Nelson and her husband, William of Meridian son, Ken Byrd of Meridian grandchildren: Brooke Barnes and her husband, Tanner of Tuscaloosa, AL Courtney Purvis and her husband, Guy of Meridian Callie Learmonth and her husband, Gary of Philadelphia, MS and Chelsea Byrd of Meridian great grandchildren: Clarie, Mason, Allie, Laurie and Michael special friends, Betty Harper and Jane Denton .

She is preceded in death by her parents, C.H. and Bessie Kate Garrison and her daughter, Kathy Byrd Nealey.

The family wants to thank Dr. Reese Jones and his nurse Rebecca and mothers home health care nurse Mr. Charlie Deen for their kindness and care throughout her illness

Visitation will be from 1 2 p.m. before the service at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
