Graveside services for Janie Elizabeth McWilliams will be Friday, December 31, 2021, at 10:00am, at Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Kemper County. Bro. Cliff Barker will be officiating.

Ms. McWilliams, 96, died December 26, 2021, at Rush Foundation Hospital. Pallbearers will be Bruce Craine, Joey Ethridge, Tommy Glen Ethridge, Harry McWilliams, Jeff McWilliams, Chip Sorrels, Jonathan Smith, and Rob Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Center Ridge Baptist Church and two special friends, Larry Gibson and Robert Smith.

Janie was a unique person who loved to write, loved photography, and was a big Ole Miss fan, but most of all she loved her Lord and her church.

She is survived by her brother Donald McWilliams of Meridian, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emma McWilliams; her sisters Mae McWilliams, Nona M. Quarles, Lela M. Brown, Eugenia M. Bounds, Beatrice McWilliams, Eleanor M. Ethridge, Helen M. Craine, and Edith M. Lundy, along with her brother Arnold McWilliams.
