Jeffrey H. Hodges (Pop)

Services for Jeff Hodges will be held Thursday at 7:00pm at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Myers officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery Friday at 10:30 am.

Jeff was at his home in Brandon where he died peacefully assured he would be in the hands of his savior. Jeff started his career as an apprentice electrician working with several of the local contractors. Thirteen years ago he applied for a position with Nissan in Canton. He has worked there for the past 13 years. Jeff loved all his co-workers and they called him "Pop". His humor and the ability to get along with everyone was a great asset. He had the biggest, badest Harley motorcycle which he loved to ride and also a big bass boat ready to go out to a lake and catch a lot of fish.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Virginia E. Hodges; brother, John David Hodges; sisters, Cindy Hodges Chambers and Holly Hodges Crane. He enjoyed being with his niece, Abi Chambers; and nephews, Nick Chambers, Jay Crane II, and Matt Crane.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Hodges; grandparents, T.H. and Florence Hodges, and Mike and Annie Ruth Eatman.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 15th Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1318 15th Ave., Meridian, MS 39301

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
