Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Harper Mayatt will be held on Wednesday, July 18th at Oak Grove Bonita Baptist Church at 10:30 am with Rev. Scott Harold and Rev. Albert McMullin officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 17th at Webb Funeral Home from 5 - 7 pm. Interment will be held in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mayatt, age 77, of Meridian, passed away on July 15, 2018 at Specialty Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a retired babysitter and loved being able to take care of children. She was a member of Oak Grove Bonita Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mayatt Ethridge (Wayne); Son, David Mayatt (Jennifer); Grandchildren, Nathan Ethridge, Bailey Mayatt, Anna Ethridge, and Morgan Mayatt; one brother, Ben Harper; one sister, Dot Burns and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Mayatt; Parents, Lee and Florence Pickett Harper; Brothers, Bud, Harold, Lavelle, and a twin brother, Jimmy Harper; and Sisters, Lou Eddie Harper and Jewel Shirley.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak Grove Bonita Baptist Church.
