Jerry Crenshaw

Graveside services for Jerry Lewis Crenshaw will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10:00 am, at Magnolia Cemetery. Dr. Scott Crenshaw will be officiating. Mr. Crenshaw died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Diversicare of Meridian. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home – North has been entrusted with his care.

Mr. Crenshaw was employed by the Coca-Cola Company for over 40 years where he worked as the Sales supervisor. He coached youth baseball pretty much all of his adult life, until he became disabled. He was quite the baseball player himself. Once when he was playing semi-pro baseball, he pitched 2 complete 9 inning games, in the same day, and both were shutouts. He was a remarkable man and a wonderful mentor to a lot of the youth in this area for a long time. He loved the Meridian Wildcats, Alabama Crimson Tide, and the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Davis Crenshaw; his children Scott Crenshaw (Angie) and Phillip Crenshaw (Svetlana).

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Elna Crenshaw, and a brother Carl Crenshaw.
