Jerry Robinson

     Jerry Robinson, 72, of Meridian, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, August 16, 2024, at R. P. White Nursing Facility in Meridian.

     Jerry was born to Melvin Lamar Robinson, Sr, and Clara Mae Robinson on May 20, 1952, in Meridian. From a young age, he was taught to work on vehicles and motors along with his brothers in his father’s shop. He enjoyed watching his John Wayne Westerns and was always found drinking a carton of milk. Jerry will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

     Jerry is survived by his brothers, Michael Robinson and Donald Robinson; his sister, Wanda Giles; and several loving nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Clara Robinson; his sister, Carolyn Mae Robinson; and his brothers, Danny Ray Robinson, Robert Robinson, and Melvin Lamar Robinson, Jr.

     The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
