Mr. Jimmie D. Harper

Services for Jimmie D. Harper will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at graveside with Dr. Richard Wallace officiating. Interment will be held in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Harper, 72, of Meridian, passed away on September 22, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Eloise Harper Two Sons, Jimmy Harper Jr. and Johnny Harper Two Daughters, Judy Harper and Jackie Harper Ipock Three Grandchildren, Kourtney Harper, Nathan Ipock, and Jimmie Ipock, all of Meridian Two Brothers, Ben Harper of Causeyville and Leval Harper of Meridian Two Sisters, Jenny Mayatt of Meridian and Dot Burns of Perry, FL and by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Florence Harper a daughter, Joann Harper Sister, Jewel Harper Shirley and a brother, D. Lee Harper Jr.

Pallbearers will be Ben Harper Jr., Marty Harper, Tommy Harper, and David Mayatt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Long Creek Baptist Church from 10 11:00 a.m.
