Jimmy "Jimbo" L. Pratt

          Jimmy “Jimbo” L. Pratt, 69, of Meridian, passed away at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

     Jimmy was born to C.L. and Willie Lee (Sullivan) Pratt on May 5, 1955, in Lauderdale County. He will be remembered as a gentle man who loved everyone, animals, and nature. Jimmy would fill his bird feeders and watch the birds in the quiet of the mornings. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially his favorite drivers, Chase Elliot #9, Ryan Blaney #12, and Daniel Suarez #99. Jimmy was also an avid Ole Miss fan, and enjoyed any Ole Miss sporting event, from football to volleyball.

     Jimmy is survived by his cousins, Carol Lang and Ira Gene Tucker; his aunt, Ann Johnson; his uncle Royce Sullivan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, C. L. and Willie Lee Pratt; and his brother, Larry Pratt.

     Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, beginning at 2:00pm at Magnolia Cemetery.
