Funeral services for Joe E. Blanks, Sr. will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00pm at James F. Webb Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Owen officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Blanks, 91, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Meridian. He was an Army and Navy veteran and worked for WTOK until retirement. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis V. Blanks; brothers: Harold Blanks and Robert Blanks; and a sister, Anita Blanks.
He is survived by his children: Jimmy (Sheri) Blanks, Joe (Nonita) Blanks, Janie Mae Blanks and John (Barbara) Blanks; and a sister, Mae Carol Blanks.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00pm before the service.
