On August 31st, 2018 at 4 am in the morning God called home his son, Joe Lewis Grady, to the gates of heaven. Joe was born to the late Dennis and Lucille Grady on September 18, 1955 in Mississippi. Joe attended Wyandach High School and Wyandach L.I. where he graduated in 1974. After graduating he joined the Marines. Joe loved farming. He would be out in the field for hours working and planting all kinds of fruits and vegetables, it was his passion. He had the kindest and sweetest heart, and yes, he could be stubborn at times, but there was not anything in the world he wouldn't do for you. He loved going for long walks, sometimes just disappearing for hours. In 2015 he went to live with his daughter Cita so that he could get to know his grandchildren. When he was there, he not only got to know them, but he made himself well known and loved by her neighbors as well. He will be greatly missed!!!
He is survived by his daughters, Cita Grady and Victoria Grady; Son, Quindall Grady; Step daughter, Ayiasha Smith; his five grandchildren, Jaylin, Sanai, Quar'ran, Chad and Zamyia; his brother, John Grady and his wife Loistine Grady; Sister, Johnnie; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
