Funeral services for Mr. John Wayne Dean will be held Friday at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Father Fred Basil officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Newton County. James F. Webb Funeral Home in Meridian is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include: his mother: Ersil Dean of Meridian; his sister: Maggie Rosier of Richland; three brothers: Kenneth Slim Dean of Meridian; Larry Buddy Dean of Little Rock; and Bobby Dean of Meridian; and numerous nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by his father: Laverne Kenneth Dean.
